Simon Krek is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of San Jose-based California Homes and Kitchen Design Center, a division of California Home Builders & Design Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mr. Krek is recognized as one of the leading residential developers in the Bay Area. As the CEO of California Home and Kitchen Design Center, Mr. Krek has developed many residential projects such as custom homes, tract homes, and multifamily projects.
Simon Krek was born and raised in Iran. From a young age, he took on the role of a provider in his household, as well as an entrepreneur. After ten years of living in the U.S. and participating in various building projects, Mr. Krek knew it was time for him to launch a building company of his own.
Currently, Mr. Krek is a member of the Building Trade Association, and in 2007, his company was named by San Jose Magazine to be “the best custom home builders” in San Jose. Mr. Krek is also very much involved in community activities. He is passionate about making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate, which led him to start a feeding program for the poverty stricken in San Jose, twice a month since 2009.
Simon Krek lives in San Jose, California, with Diana, his wife of 26 years, and their daughter.
